Children’s Health

We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life.

Helping children grow healthier is one of our clinical passions. We work with infants from day one and help to optimize health and keep them on the healthiest possible track in life. Children tend to respond very well to preventive and natural therapies, including clinical nutrition, managing food allergies, healing the gut, and addressing fears, anxiety or behavioural concerns. We incorporate prevention into every visit and involve children in their own care, as appropriate to their developmental stage.

Naturopathic Medicine delivers safe, effective treatment approaches for a broad range of children’s health concerns, including:

Digestive: colic, indigestion, reflux, gas, diarrhea, constipation, stomach aches, food sensitivities, introducing solid foods to infants, feeding issues

Dermatological: eczema, dermatitis, rashes, cradle cap, acne, psoriasis

Immune: frequent or persistent colds and flus, allergies, asthma, fevers

Mental-emotional: learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, nightmares, insomnia, depression, anxiety, fears, temper tantrums, behavioural problems

Developmental & Metabolic: well-child visits, teething, growing pains, health issues of puberty, autism spectrum disorders

Dr. Cherevaty provides calm, attentive health care to children and supports you in working with the other members of your child’s health care team. She is a professional member of the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians (PedANP) and the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors (APND).
