This Sunday, March 8, marks International Women’s Day, a celebration of women’s achievements and a call to action for greater equality. A celebration that began in the early 1900’s, it’s now celebrated throughout the world as a national holiday in many countries. There are plenty of opportunities to mark the occasion right here in the City of Guelph. Here a few International Women’s Day events we thought you might like to check out!
